Introduction to Bay Swimming

This is a class for those who are new to open water swimming, new to San Francisco Bay Swimming, new to cold water swimming...

We cover the basics of hypothermia, how to prevent it, what to do if you think you might have it as well as how to be aware of the tides in SF Bay and what our aquatic friends are like. We swim as a group for about 45 min, practicing sighting, practicing how to swim as a group, how to get fit and faster in the open water.

We'll talk about other options in the Bay area for open water swimming as well as maybe encouraging you to do some open water swims in other parts of the world.

This is a safe, supportive fun class.Honest.

I love swimming and hope to help you to love it as well.

Cost is $60 pp, max class size is 1 coach to 5 swimmers.

%10 of the cost goes to support Swim Across America.

You must pr-reg and pre-pay.
